Caught on Camera: Shocking Moment Two Women Desecrate Grave in Secret

Cemeteries are a place of final rest, a place where loved ones say their last goodbyes, remember them, and grant them peaceful rest.

A cemetery is generally a protected place where all people respect the deceased.

But in recent years, cemeteries across the country have become scenes of crime.

In 2017, an incident occurred at Grove Street Cemetery in New London, Ohio, that shocked many people.

A woman was decorating a family grave when the beautiful items she had placed there suddenly disappeared, writes Hrtwarming.

It was mainly a flowerpot that she had placed there on Father’s Day that had disappeared. According to the woman, there was no amount of money in the world that could replace the flowerpot.

But the disappearance of the items turned out to have a natural explanation. There were two people walking around the cemetery taking things from the grave markers.

Footage on surveillance cameras

They probably never thought they would be caught, but what they didn’t know was that the cemetery had installed surveillance cameras that recorded every move of the criminals.

It turned out to be two elderly women who went on a rampage at the graveyard and stole various items.

Fortunately, the police were able to identify the two suspected criminals with the help of the surveillance footage. People were shocked when they heard who had stolen from the deceased.

What was especially shocking for people was that one of the women was a government official from a nearby city and was known to many in New London.

We are grateful that the cameras were able to catch the thieves in the act – and we hope that these two women will remember in the future that crime never pays.
