The renowned martial arts expert and actor Chuck Norris has always been seen with a stunning woman by his side.
Since 1998, he has been wed to former model Gena O’Kelley, and together they have twins, Danielle Kelley and Dakota Alan, who were born in 2001.
Norris established over 30 karate studios and has instructed celebrities like Steve McQueen and Priscilla Presley. This former military officer has also starred in movies such as Way of the Dragon, Missing in Action, Code of Silence, and The Delta Force.
The father of five, born in Oklahoma, got together with Gena nine years after separating from his first wife of 30 years, Dianne Kay Holechek. They first met as classmates in high school in Torrance, California, and tied the knot when Norris was 18 and she was 17.
Four years later, the couple welcomed their first child, Mike, in 1962. However, the following year, Norris also had a daughter with a lady named Johanna outside of his marriage, as detailed in the Mirror.
In a 2007 article in the Daily Herald, the action hero expressed his gratitude towards the mother for choosing to keep her child.
“There may be illegitimate parents in the world,” Norris remarked. “I know because I was one, but there are no illegitimate children. God has a plan and a purpose for each of our lives.”
The famed martial arts expert, who has excelled in numerous martial arts tournaments, learned about his daughter Dina DiCiolli 26 years post her birth.
In his book “Against All Odds: My Story,” Norris disclosed that he had been unfaithful to his first wife and fathered a child with another woman, Johanna, while serving in the U.S. Air Force in California.
Norris admitted to feeling remorse for deceiving Johanna in the book, as he had never revealed his marital status to her.
It wasn’t until 1991 that Norris learned about Dina’s existence when she reached out to him through a letter claiming to be his daughter.
Dina discovered Norris was her father at the age of 16 when she overheard her mother discussing him with a friend.
Norris vividly remembered the encounter with his daughter Dina and how he instantly recognized her without the need for a DNA test.
Upon seeing her, he approached and embraced her, tears streaming down their faces. In his book, Norris described feeling like he had known her all his life in that heartfelt moment.
Dina is now a married real estate agent and a mother to three children: daughter Gabi and sons Dante and Eli.
In June 2012, she posted a photo of Gabi engaged in medical research in a lab. Gabi got married in October 2018 and shared pictures of the ceremony on Facebook.
The immediate acceptance of his daughter Dina into his life by Norris is truly incredible. After all these years, she rightfully deserves it. I wish them a joyous life filled with many more beautiful moments together.
