Reports reveal that during his engagement to Maggie Johnson in the early fifties, before his rise to fame, Clint had embarked on a relationship with a woman in Seattle.
Unbeknownst to him, she conceived his child and later put the baby up for adoption following the end of their relationship.

Meet Laurie Murray
The girl, named Laurie Murray, was adopted by a couple in Seattle. Years later, she felt compelled to uncover the identity of her biological parents.
A family acquaintance informed the Daily Mail in 2018: “This transpired around 30 years ago. Laurie Murray had a strong desire to trace her biological roots and enlisted help to do so. Through documents they unearthed, her biological mother had mentioned Clint Eastwood as the father.
“Surprisingly, Clint Eastwood had no knowledge of her existence while she was expecting.”
They added: “I don’t think her upbringing was privileged. Upon locating her biological parents, she reached out to her mother, who opted to maintain distance.”

Fortunately, Clint welcomed his biological daughter’s contact with open arms.
Over time, Laurie and Clint developed a close bond, with her eventually becoming a regular participant in family gatherings.

The public first learned about Clint’s hidden eighth child through the actor’s biographer, Patrick McGilligan, in the book Clint: The Life and Legend.
In an interview with Inside Edition, McGilligan remarked: “I think when he discovered she was his daughter and realized she was from the past… he dealt with it gracefully.”
A source from the Daily Mail disclosed: “Laurie and her family are well-off. Hence, this wasn’t a typical scenario for Clint Eastwood, where someone unexpectedly appears seeking financial gain.
“Laurie is a very discreet individual and doesn’t flaunt this information.”
