Judge Simon Cowell isn’t known for being the soft, kind guy on a talent show panel – quite the opposite actually.
Yet there are even instances where Cowell’s icy heart seems to melt.
That was the case when father of six Michael Ketterer took the stage as part of this season’s America’s Got Talent.
Initially, Michael seemed nervous and shy.
He explained to the judges that he had a total of six children, all from foster care. Michael also worked as a pediatric mental health nurse.
His main reason for appearing on the show was to provide inspiration for his family, especially his kids.
By pursuing his own dream, Michael wanted to prove to his children that their biggest goals are achievable. He wanted to show that nothing is impossible and that his children should and must chase their dreams until the end.
What an inspiration, especially for children coming from foster care backgrounds and not the most ideal start in life.
Michael chose to sing the Bee Gees song “To Love Somebody.” It’s hard not to be overwhelmed with emotions when you hear his voice.
What do you like about Michael’s rendition? Are you as much a fan as Simon Cowell?

More people definitely need to see this devoted father of six!
