Debora’s devotion: Giving old shelter dogs a dignified farewell

It’s a heart-wrenching reality that countless dogs are in shelters at any given moment without a loving owner.

While young and cute dogs have hope for adoption, the old ones, especially the sick ones like a 14-year-old dog, often don’t get the same chance.

However, one exceptional individual, Debora Rizzo, did just that.

A Dignified End of Life

The dog peacefully passed away within a month, having experienced a caring and dignified farewell.

Debora Rizzo, a 30-year-old Italian volunteer, showed an act of sheer kindness. But her mission goes beyond that.

She has taken on the task of ensuring that old and sick dogs are cared for lovingly till the end of their days.

She adopts them and showers them with love, regardless of age or health issues, providing comfort as they near the end of their lives.

Each time one of her beloved dogs passes away, it is a deeply emotional experience.

We are truly moved by her compassion. What a hero!
