Thousands of people go through tragedies every day. Every day, someone loses a parent, brother, partner, or friend. Unfortunately, with the coronavirus, that is even worse.
Devastating Loss: Mother Succumbs to COVID-19, Son Fights for Survival

It pains me to see how people have to endure such suffering. I don’t even want to imagine how it feels to lose someone dear to me.
For a British family, tragedy struck not once, but twice.
Every day, people take their last breath. It is a clear part of life.
And although death is a natural process, families are left with a huge loss.
Linda Tuppen (66) had been taking care of her son Rob who had contracted the coronavirus. He showed clear symptoms.
Her other son James was also in the same house, but fortunately did not get infected.
At the family home, in the town of Bolton, Linda took care of the sick Rob, but to make matters worse, the mother soon began to show similar symptoms herself.
The Sun reported that as a precaution, Linda rested, but shortly after she began to complain of severe chest pain.
Rob, who was feeling better by then, asked his mother to contact the doctors. But Linda refused.
All she wanted to do was rest and be with her family. She said she probably just needed some sleep.
Five days after falling ill, Rob found her dead in bed.
“I panicked. She was just lying there and I shouted ‘mom’, but she didn’t respond,” Rob told MEN.
Chest Pain
Rob recounts how he tried to resuscitate her, but his mother could not be saved.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, Rob and his brother James had already lost their father in 2008. From then on, they had to fend for themselves and became orphans.
“She was a kind, loving woman who loved me and James very much and did a lot for us,” Rob told the magazine.
“Did Everything for Us”
Last week, Linda’s son also tested positive for the coronavirus. Now he is fighting for his life in the hospital, reported The Sun.
“This is serious. It’s not a joke. It can happen to anyone,” says Rob.
We can only imagine the pain for those who have lost someone to the coronavirus. Our thoughts are with all of you!
