"It felt like my creativity was being stifled. While I enjoyed teaching, I wasn’t completely fulfilled," she expressed to Bored Panda. "I was ready for a fresh challenge."

In her spare time post-work, Mimi honed various makeup techniques.

"I’ve always been inclined toward art and had prior experience with bridal makeup, which garnered positive feedback," she shared. "I wanted to venture into something unique for October 31 (Halloween), so I scoured Instagram and stumbled upon a picture of a woman whose face appeared to be fractured open."

Subsequently, her makeup journey took a distinctive turn, swiftly delving into breathtaking 3D optical illusions, amassing a plethora of admirers. She currently boasts almost 300,000 followers on Instagram.
