Killed because it was in her will
As per a report by CNN, the woman expressed her desire to be laid to rest beside her beloved dog.
Following her passing, the dog was initially placed in an animal shelter in Virginia, where activists urged against fulfilling the woman’s request, but to no avail.
The perfectly healthy dog was euthanized, and on March 22, a veterinarian administered a lethal injection. Subsequently, the dog’s ashes were interred in an urn next to its deceased owner.
