The excitement of purchasing a new home is unmatched. However, for Angie Whitley, the initial joy of moving into her dream house turned into a nightmare.
While exploring her new residence, she heard unsettling sounds coming from the bedroom.
Upon investigation, she was shocked to discover the source and immediately contacted pest control.
The single mom, Angie Whitley, had long envisioned owning a home. When her family finally saved enough to buy a beautiful house, it was meant to be her forever home.

Angie was thrilled with her new abode. Once the paperwork was done, she wasted no time in moving in her belongings.
However, her joy was short-lived. Just 45 minutes after unlocking the door and entering the bedroom with her possessions, she heard movement on the floor.
To her horror, she discovered a live snake on the floor. The situation quickly escalated from one snake to multiple, eventually totaling 95 snakes found in her home six months later, as revealed by Angie to CBS.
Forced to seek professional help, Angie called in pest control. The team’s startling revelation was that the house appeared to have been constructed on a significant snake pit.

While the previous owners denied awareness of the snake issue, Angie remains skeptical.
She ended up spending approximately $13,000 to address the problem, including a complete basement renovation and draining the snake-infested pit.

She is now considering legal action against the previous owners.
‘It’s unfortunate that she’s going through this,’ expressed pest control expert Mark Anderson to CBS.

Angie appears to be a resilient and compassionate individual who deserves to live in her dream home without such unwelcome surprises. Let’s hope she finds a resolution to her predicament, allowing her to savor her new home for years to come.
