Toby the cat, six years old, appears older due to being born with the rare “Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome,” causing fragile fur and head deformation.
“The body lacks collagen production, leading to fur that doesn’t heal properly and is more prone to infections,” shared Georginia Price with Love Meow.
Despite his condition, Toby found love with Georgina, who didn’t hesitate to adopt him, giving him the affection he deserves!
Georgina’s love for Toby overcame his unwanted status due to his unique condition.
After persuading her husband Christopher, they welcomed Toby into their home, adding him to their family alongside Quinton, another cat.
Georgina made all the arrangements for Toby’s adoption and eagerly met him in person.
“When we took him in, his weight was 5.7 kg, despite his small size, due to his excessive fur. Toby is now a happy and healthy cat who we adore,” she expressed to Love Meow.
