“I faced insults daily, and although not always intentionally mean, there were instances of cruelty,” she shared with the British Mirror.
“I experienced physical assaults, being spat on, and having objects thrown at me, but the worst was when a girl burned me because of my red hair.”
“In 7th grade, I had to eat lunch in the school bathrooms because sitting with certain girls resulted in them leaving.”

“Initially distressed, I was determined to show that bullying doesn’t last forever,” she expressed.
Choosing a Modeling Career
With time, Jessica matured into a young woman.
She made a commitment to make a positive impact on those facing ordeals with bullying.
Joining a modeling agency, she embarked on a path where appearance played a significant role.
Yet this time, she was lauded for her unique style.

Participating in the “Miss England” beauty pageant, she emerged victorious as the first redhead winner.
“Upon reflection, I discovered the scarcity of redheads on screen,” Jessica shared.
“Having a redhead represented in such a position is wonderful. Notably, no redheads featured in Miss World last year.”
Winning the competition holds profound significance for Jessica, validating her journey.
“I believed that winning this title would empower bullied children, revealing their beauty regardless of appearance or hair color,” she conveyed.
“Representing younger individuals is fulfilling, showing them that past struggles can be transformed into strengths. Make that pain your superpower,” she added.
