Girl Attacked on Way Home – How She Remembered Her Mother’s Advice and Shocked the Men

In a perfect world, no one would be afraid to walk home alone at night – but unfortunately, there are sick people who roam the streets at night.

Recently, Jordan Dinsmore, a 20-year-old student from South Carolina, fell victim to a group of disturbed individuals.

She was ambushed by three men who were waiting outside her apartment. During the terrible incident, they held a weapon to her, robbed her, and then kidnapped her in a very aggressive manner.

It could have ended much worse that night, she could have even lost her life. But thanks to the wise advice of her mother, which suddenly came to her mind, the situation took a different turn.

Jordan arrived at her front door around 1 am, and to her great disbelief, three men were waiting for her at the door.

The men were armed and wasted no time in attacking Jordan and taking all her money and belongings.

Then they forced her into the car. Since nobody knew how to drive a manual transmission car, Jordan was forced to drive them to the nearest gas station to refuel their car.

While Jordan was driving, a gun was also pointed at her. Her thoughts raced through her head about how she ended up in this situation.

When the men told her she first had to withdraw all her money from the bank, and then they would rape her, Jordan remembered what her mother had always told her. And so she knew what to do now.

Her mother was almost raped on campus herself and told Jordan how she escaped from this situation.

“My mom always told me, ‘Never let them take you when you are alone,’” Jordan told ABC News 4. “‘Because then you have no help, no hope that passersby can see or hear you, and therefore no chance of getting out of here.’”

Jordan knew her only chance to save her life was to jump out of the car. So she did that, she let go of the steering wheel, and jumped out of the moving car.

“I just thought to myself, ‘do it, do it, just do it,’ and before I knew it, my hand opened the door, and I was staring at the ground,” Jordan told ABC News 4. “When I woke up, I just tried to stand up.”

Jordan started shouting and caught the attention of other cars, and eventually, someone stopped.

The only regret Jordan has is that she didn’t see the reaction of the men when she did this.

You can watch the news report on this brave story below:

“They were in a moving vehicle, with no driver, and a 20-year-old girl was clearly smarter than these criminals,” Jordan told ABC News 4. “I wish I could see their faces at that moment, so they could realize that I would not be their victim.”

Two of the men were later arrested.

Thank goodness Jordan remembered her mom’s advice, so this brave young lady could escape from this horrific situation! Remember to keep giving advice to your children. You never know what situation they might end up in!
