Following the tragic death a week ago, her eldest daughter, Riley Keough, has spoken out about her mother.
On January 13th, the world was stunned by the news of Lisa Marie Presley’s passing. The daughter of rock icon Elvis Presley died at 54 from a heart attack.
She was discovered lifeless in her Calabasas home by her housekeeper and swiftly taken to the hospital.
Several hours later, Lisa Marie’s mother confirmed her daughter’s passing.
“With a heavy heart, I announce the heartbreaking news of my beloved daughter Lisa Marie’s departure,” expressed Priscilla Presley in a statement that evening.

Lisa Marie is survived by her 77-year-old mother Priscilla Presley, daughter Riley (33), and twin daughters Finley and Harper (14).
Her late son, Benjamin Keough, tragically took his own life in 2020. Lisa Marie has now been laid to rest beside him in a private funeral service at Graceland, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Across from her lies her father Elvis, and a memorial was held on Sunday, January 22. In a 2003 interview with Playboy magazine, Lisa Marie spoke of her fear of death after losing her father at the age of nine.
“How many people have a family burial plot in their backyard? How many are reminded daily of their destiny, of their mortality? All the graves are there, and there’s a space reserved for me, next to my grandmother,” she shared with the magazine.

Since her passing, various family members have shared their sentiments. Her ex-husband Michael Lockwood, with whom she shares her twin daughters, has also spoken out.
“Michael is devastated. He is now with his daughters,” stated Lockwood’s lawyer, Joe Yanny.
Even former husband Nicholas Cage paid tribute to the singer with heartfelt words.
“This is devastating news. Lisa had the most gentle smile I’ve ever seen. She brought light to every room, and my heart aches. I take solace in the belief that she’s now reunited with her son Benjamin,” Cage expressed as per ET Online.

With the loss of both her brother and mother in recent years, Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter, Riley, has now broken her silence a week after her mother’s passing.
On her Instagram, she posted a photo from her childhood with her mother, showing Lisa Marie smiling lovingly at her.
