Grieving Hayden Panettiere Mourns Loss of Younger Brother at 28 – Rest in Peace

Jansen Panettiere, brother of Nashville star Hayden Panettiere, has sadly passed away at the age of 28.

PEOPLE magazine reports that Jansen passed away this past weekend in New York City. The cause of his death is currently unknown, with no suspicion of foul play reported according to TMZ.

Jansen was known for his roles in various movies and TV series including The X’s, Tiger Cruise, Racing Stripes, The Martial Arts Kid, The Walking Dead, Perfect Game, and How High 2.

He also featured in Disney Channel movies and Nickelodeon films, receiving a Young Artist Award nomination in 2008 for his performance in ‘The Last Day of Summer’.

Lisa Marie Presley, singer-songwriter and daughter of Elvis Presley, passed away at 54.

Raquel Welch, the iconic Hollywood actress and sex symbol, has also passed away at the age of 82 – may they rest in peace.

TMZ reported that authorities responded to a New York City residence around 5:30 pm on Sunday.

As of now, there are no further details on the cause of Jansen’s death, but foul play is not suspected.

Just three weeks ago, Jansen shared a photo on his Instagram featuring his sister Hayden, 33, getting her hair cut. The caption read:

β€œNot the first haircut she tried to give me.”

Difficult Time

The Daily Mail stated that an insider mentioned Jansen had been struggling with his career lately.

According to the source, β€œHe had been having a tough time with his career lately and being pulled in so many directions.”

β€œHayden is absolutely devastated. He was her best friend and her only brother. He was such a nice guy, but he was living on the edge,” the source added.
