On a warm summer day, Teddy the dog was discovered in a gutter, alone and in a pitiful state.
Fortunately, the animal organization Animal Shelters and animal welfare worker Nia arrived to help. Teddy was dirty and needed urgent veterinary care.
After receiving a bath at the clinic, it was evident that Teddy was severely malnourished, a result of being left starving and fatigued in the intense heat.
“Teddy is one of the most resilient puppies I’ve ever encountered. When I found him alone on that sunny summer day, he was at great risk,” expressed Animal Shelters on their YouTube channel.
Animal activists suspected that the dog, infested with lice causing wounds, had been abandoned outdoors. Despite his small size, he had a long way ahead.
Today, Teddy is thriving and in much better health!
“After overcoming numerous challenges over several months, he has transformed into a healthy and joyful dog. His fur is growing back swiftly, and he is now a content and beautiful dog ready for a loving home,” shared Animal Shelters.
