During the devastating Australian bushfires, he extended his help without a second thought.
The environmental organization Earth Alliance, co-founded by DiCaprio, raised $3 million to aid in the “international response to the catastrophic bushfires,” as reported by CBS News.

One of the dogs fell into the icy lake at the filming site and fought to survive
Leo, who deeply cares for his dogs, didn’t think twice and immediately leaped into the freezing water to rescue the dog
“One of the dogs fell into the water,” recounted fellow actress Jennifer Lawrence. “He jumped into the frozen lake to save the dog, and as soon as he pushed one dog out of the lake, the other one fell in”
Both dogs ended up in the icy water while Leo made every effort to retrieve them
Upon their safe return, colleagues were amazed by Leo’s swift response and courageous deeds
