True love lasts until death do us part. At least, we hope so.
And the same goes for animals.
Stuart Hutchinson from Scotland fought cancer for eight years, but after a long battle, the man took his last breath.
We don’t want to hurt or lose the ones we love. And when tragedies happen in life, it’s often difficult to understand how to cope with them.
The Scot, Stuart Hutchinson, placed great importance on his family, but especially on his dog Nero. He was the main figure in his life.
They were best friends together, and their bond of friendship was pure love that would last for many years. At least, that’s what they thought.
Unfortunately, Stuart fought cancer for 8 long years. A heavy battle for Stuart, but also for his surrounding family.
“Nero was the only one who was always by his side,” his mother tells The Mirror.
However, time passed, and his chances of recovery plummeted.
Eventually, the doctors delivered a message to him that no one should have to hear.

The message from the doctors, after eight years of struggle
Stuart had only a few weeks left to live.
“Four weeks ago, Stuart was allowed to return home because he wanted to die at home, because he was also born at home. We took care of him. It is still a big shock and trauma when the unexpected finally happened,” his mother said.
On August 11, Stuart took his last breath.
But his beloved dog Nero couldn’t cope with the loss of his best friend Stuart, and fifteen minutes after Stuart passed away, Nero also passed away.

A friendship like this is the perfect example of the phrase “till death do us part.” Touching. Rest in peace, dear friends.
