When the dog Haddie was rescued, she had suffered serious injuries and had almost her entire face bitten off. This is what she looks like today.
All dogs deserve safety, love, and care. Unfortunately, not everyone truly understands this.
There are people who force dogs to do terrible things and use animals for their own entertainment or for money.
Among them are those who organize dog fights and train them to fight each other.

‘The dog was clearly abused’
When they found the dog Haddie, her rescuers quickly realized the terrible things she had been through.
She was used as a ‘bait dog’, which means people used her to teach other dogs to fight.
This led to her nearly losing her entire face.
“The vet took a look at her and said that ‘this dog is clearly abused and used as bait'” explains Haddie’s new owner.
Did brutal things to the little dog
For example, Haddie’s previous owners would tie her to a tree or put her in a cage so that other dogs could attack her.
But even though she had a terrible life, Haddie is a strong, little dog with an incredible amount of love to give.
This is how Haddie lives today
Her ‘mom’ said it was destiny for Haddie to end up at her home.
– “I have seen photos of Haddie when she was first rescued and they are cruel. It seems like she was ready to give up. It’s truly heartbreaking,” she said.
– “When I first got her, she was terrified of other dogs. She would go into a panic if she even heard or saw one outside the window. [But] after working with a trainer, she quickly got over her fear.”
It’s truly touching to see that Haddie now has a loving home where she will never be exposed to horrors again.
