Man’s tears turn to shock as ‘drowned’ dog’s true colors surface

Anyone with a dog knows they have their own personality. But the dog in this story turned out to have a very unique sense of humor.

Jonel (the jokester) wanted to prank his owner one day while they were out for a walk.

The dog ran into the river, causing his owner to lose sight of him. But when he found him a little later, he immediately feared the worst.

He posted a series of photos of his dog on Facebook, along with the following caption:

“I was looking for Jonel and found him like this, I was desperate, I started crying, and when I finally gathered the courage to get him out of the water, he acted as if nothing had happened.”

“Just look at his mischievous face! This is not funny, Jonel!!!!”

So, what happened, you might wonder?

Well, Jonel pretended to be dead in the water, floating on his back without moving. Naturally, his owner was terrified.

But when the dog emerged from the water after a while, he acted as if nothing had happened, much to his owner’s relief.

One particular image spoke volumes when Jonel seemed to be laughing at his owner after pulling off the prank.

Someone wrote: “There’s something human-like in this funny dog, see his smile and those eyes!”

The post was shared by over 100,000 people on Facebook, and others shared photos of their own dogs pretending to be dead. They expressed how happy they were that Jonel was okay.

I’m sure this won’t be the last time Jonel plays a prank on his owner. This dog is too funny for words.
