Remarkably, there is an animal that seems to embody the best of both worlds by sporting a somewhat unconventional appearance—a blend of a cat and a dog.
This remarkable little fellow appears to have a dog’s visage on a cat’s body, perhaps with a hint of fox-like features. Internet jests revolve around how he seems to transition from cat to dog and back, depending on the angle captured in the photo.

Another person commented, “Corgi mixed with a British Shorthair cat.”
For those who guessed “dog,” you are correct: this little pup goes by the name Dúi, and his distinctive look stems from a rare blend of breeds.
Residing in Vietnam with his owners Hai Anh and Tuan, Dúi is described by Hai Anh to The Dodo as a hybrid between the indigenous Hmong dog breed and a short-legged dog called Dingo. “But I believe he might also carry a mutated gene,” Hai Anh added.
Not only does he exhibit traits of a cat-dog, but he also delights onlookers with a range of comical facial expressions.
Unsurprisingly, Dúi has garnered widespread attention online, both within his homeland and internationally.
“Merely 5 days since we established Dúi’s fan page, and it already boasts over 40,000 likes,” Hai Anh mentioned. “The dog has amassed numerous fans, spanning across Vietnam and beyond.”
His Facebook page presently enjoys a following of over 232,000 individuals. The reason for his jubilant demeanor is evident!
Despite his status as a celebrity and his unique physical attributes, Dúi remains a regular, contented dog…
