In times of extreme hardship, we often place our trust in the dedicated hospital staff, appreciating the remarkable work they do.
However, a heart-wrenching incident in India has sparked outrage as such a situation should never occur!

At Max Hospital in Delhi, India, premature twins were born on November 30.
Tragically, the twin girl was stillborn, while her brother required resuscitation, as reported by The India Times.
Despite having an irregular heartbeat, the medical team spared no effort in attempting to save the baby boy’s life.

Despite the doctors’ best efforts, the infant boy could not be saved and was declared deceased alongside his sister.
The parents, naturally devastated, received the babies in a plastic bag, according to The India Times.
As the father, Amish, prepared to bury his children, he made a startling discovery—the baby boy was moving inside the bag.
“Without hesitation, he opened the bag and found the baby was still alive,” shared the boy’s uncle with The Epoch Times.

Unexpected Phone Call from the Hospital
This harrowing experience is something no one should ever endure. Amish sprang into action, rushing the baby to a nearby hospital.
Although the boy was in critical condition, he was alive. The hospital informed the parents that their son had contracted a severe infection.
“That morning, the hospital contacted us,” explained the uncle.
“They reassured us that there was no negligence on their part, but an employee described it as a ‘medical miracle’. Despite our request to speak with the doctors for clarification, the hospital denied us that opportunity.”
Max Hospital in Delhi issued a statement expressing being “shocked and concerned by this unprecedented case.”

Medical Staff Dismissed
Regrettably, the baby passed away in the hospital several days later. After almost a week in intensive care, the boy succumbed on December 5, as per a police report to The Times of India.
An investigation ensued, revealing that the hospital had neglected to conduct any ultrasounds to confirm the baby’s status. The parents were given the body without any written documentation, according to NDTV.
Health Minister Satyendar Jain has stated that the entire hospital faces potential license revocation. The two doctors implicated in the Max Hospital incident have been discharged.
Nevertheless, the hospital asserts that the disciplinary action does not imply any wrongdoing on the doctors’ part but signifies their dedication to maintaining superior care standards.
This grievous ordeal for the affected family should serve as a lesson, ensuring such a tragedy never repeats!
