Mom Gives 4-Year-Old Burger King Snack, Hears ‘Mom, I Don’t Want Ketchup!’

Tiffany Floyd visited a Burger King drive-thru in Western New York with her four-year-old daughter for a snack.

What should have been a simple treat turned alarming when her daughter complained about ‘ketchup’ on her meal.

“Today I went to Burger King near my house,” Floyd shared in a TikTok video.

After handing the kids’ meal to her daughter, she heard, “Mom, I don’t want ketchup.”

“Thinking they got our order wrong, I checked the bag and found blood everywhere,” Floyd explained.

Floyd later realized that what she thought was ketchup was actually blood after her daughter ate some fries and a bite of the cheeseburger.

Upon contacting the fast-food chain, Floyd discovered that an employee had cut his hand before packing the food.

Despite a refund from the manager, Floyd was upset by the casual response to the incident.

Despite reporting to the local health department, little could be done about the incident.

Burger King closed the Gettzville location for cleaning and staff retraining following the incident.

While measures were taken, Floyd remains distressed as her daughter now fears dining out and requires monthly blood tests.

Floyd’s viral TikTok video aims to raise awareness about checking food before consumption and has garnered over six million views.

“It never occurred to me that I should look at my food more closely before taking a bite,” Floyd emphasized.
