And such a cruel fate is something that befell a 16-month-old girl not long ago.
While her mother went on vacation, she was left alone at home.
For eight days, she fought for her life, but before her mother returned from her trip, the little girl had taken her last breath.
Now her mother is being charged on suspicion of causing the death of another, writes Cafémom.

A small individual is now dependent on you as an adult.
You must guide the way and show how life should be and especially how other people should be treated with love and respect.
But there are also adults who show everything but this.
They show how cruel and heartless someone can be when they lack empathy and heart.
A 31-year-old mother from Ohio, USA, had decided to go on a trip.
At home, she had a 16-month-old daughter, but that didn’t seem to bother her plans at all.
Instead of postponing the trip or taking her daughter with her, the mother chose to go alone to have some time for herself.
But left alone at home, her daughter couldn’t take care of herself.
16-month-old girl left alone and died
For eight days, the little girl hovered between life and death.
According to Cafémom, there seems to be no food or water set out, and by the time the mother came home, it was too late.
The little girl was unconscious when the mother arrived home and was found alone with a blanket soaked with urine and feces, the site writes.
Although an ambulance arrived quickly, there was nothing that could be done.
When she was 16 months old, the little girl fell asleep forever.
According to the site, no official cause of death has been released, but according to information, the little girl was extremely dehydrated when she was found.
A neighbor of theirs tells the site that she had often seen the girl being cared for by her grandmother, but for an unclear reason, it didn’t happen this time.
The same neighbor also says she would have liked to take care of the little girl if the 31-year-old mother had asked.
An investigation is now ongoing in the case to determine the cause of death.
The 31-year-old mother is now suspected of causing the death of another and faces imprisonment.
