Mother’s Horror: Baby Diagnosed with Bloody Blisters in Mouth

Juliano, the 1-year-old son of Samantha Rodger, had severe red bumps and blisters in his mouth.

The mother took him to a doctor where he was diagnosed with a flu. The doctors tried to reassure Samantha by saying that in the worst case, it could be Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease, which usually goes away on its own after a week.

However, in the following days, the sores and blisters became larger and more serious, spreading all over his neck and stomach.

Juliano was in a lot of pain, and Samantha was very shocked and worried.

She rushed with her little boy to the hospital where he underwent several tests.

Ultimately, the doctors decided to test Juliano for the Herpes type-1 virus (HSV), reported by Liftable. To Samantha’s great concern, the tests came back positive.

Samantha had no idea where her son could have contracted the virus. She knows no one who has the virus, and a simple hug and kiss would be enough to infect Juliano.

“It’s incredibly crappy because now it’s a lifelong problem,” she tells Liftable. “I don’t know how to deal with this. I’m doing my best. It breaks my heart, and I can’t do anything to help him.”

Highly contagious

Herpes is highly contagious. It can be anyone, your best friend, your sister, brother, or your mother,” she says. “If you see a cold sore or something similar, do NOT let ANYONE near your baby!”

Thoroughly and frequently washing your hands can also help prevent the virus from spreading further.

My heart broke when I saw the photos of little Juliano. Poor, little guy.

While there is no cure for herpes, herpes patients do not always have an outbreak. It is possible that Juliano may never have an outbreak in his entire life. I truly hope for the best for this little boy.
