When choosing a midwife for childbirth, one would naturally expect all staff members to cherish children and prioritize the well-being of newborns.
Caring for newborns goes beyond mere affection; it demands great responsibility and utmost care due to their delicate and petite nature.
However, the following account involves two nurses who were clearly misplaced at a hospital in Florida, USA.
These two young student nurses were tasked with the care of a newborn in the pediatric department.
Regrettably, one nurse found amusement in lifting the baby and manipulating his arms to mimic a dancing motion.
To exacerbate the situation, her companion opted to record this appalling act on her phone.
Amidst laughter, one of the girls can be heard in the video saying, “We’re going to hell for this.”
It was evident that both nurses were fully aware that their actions were inappropriate.
Unfortunately, their reckless and cruel behavior did not stop there.
They proceeded to share the video on their social media profiles, accompanied by a photo showing one of the girls making an obscene gesture with her middle finger directed at the child.
The photo was captioned: “How I currently feel about these mini-Satans.”
That marked the end of their so-called amusement.
Following the online circulation of the video and photo, numerous individuals were appalled and reported the matter to hospital authorities.
Subsequently, the nurses were suspended immediately, and an investigation was launched.
It’s unsettling to witness the conduct of individuals when they believe their actions are unseen.
A silver lining in this unfortunate incident is that the perpetrators foolishly made themselves known publicly – hopefully ensuring they are never granted access to children in any professional capacity.
