Outcast at Kindergarten: Girl (2) Banished for Deformed Skull Scaring Off Peers

Every child deserves the right to education, including Sofya Zakharova (2) from Russia, whose parents were informed that she couldn’t attend school due to her deformed skull.

She resides in Alatany, Russia, with her family but was deemed unfit for school due to her physical appearance.

Sofya’s parents were informed that their daughter needed surgery before being allowed to join school, as her condition might disturb other children, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Educational psychologist Ekaterina Belan emphasized the importance of Sofya engaging in social interactions from a young age to help her cope with her condition better.

Despite their challenging living conditions, Sofya’s family received assistance from a local organization upon hearing about her situation. However, the school remained adamant about not accepting her, according to Metro.

Authorities are now investigating why Sofya has not undergone the necessary surgery and why the school is resistant to accommodating her.

Governor Radiy Khabirov expressed concerns over the violation of Sofya and her parents’ rights, highlighting that legal actions will follow.
