Outrageous Trophy Hunting Package: “Shoot Two for the Price of One”

I, along with many people from around the globe, struggle to comprehend why anyone would want to kill a helpless animal and proudly display next to its lifeless body.

Regrettably, some individuals view this barbaric practice as a source of entertainment known as “trophy hunting,” where participants pay hefty fees to engage in this reprehensible activity.

‘Shoot a lioness dead at no extra cost’

As reported by the Humane Society, American trophy hunters spend considerable amounts to hunt animals in Africa, with around 126,000 trophies of deceased animals being imported annually.

“Wolves, bears, leopards, and other wildlife fall prey to trophy hunting, contributing to the deterioration of ecosystems,” the Humane Society mentioned.

The hunting outfit ‘Mkulu Hunting Safaris’ has now introduced a disturbing promotion where participants can shoot two animals for the price of one.

According to The Mirror, it was advertised, “Book a lion hunt with us, and get a free lioness at no extra cost.”

‘An extinction crisis is looming’

Eduardo Goncalves, an advocate against trophy hunting, expressed his concern, stating, “Now, hunting is not limited to the ultra-wealthy due to last-minute deals and cancellation offers, making it affordable. It’s akin to a daily ‘Black Friday’ for animals.”

“We are facing an extinction crisis where more hunters are allowed to target rare and endangered animals,” he added.

Pawprint Safari, another company, arranges hunts for wild animals and antelopes for a mere 2,200 euros, inclusive of flights, making hunting an inexpensive activity.

Africa hosts more antelope species than any other continent, with approximately 25 antelope species at risk of extinction as per the Union for Conservation of Nature.

This is unacceptable! Animals deserve to roam freely without being pushed towards extinction by heartless trophy hunters!
