Unbeknownst to Greg Allen, those words hinted at a terrible truth. His ex-wife had abducted their daughter, vanishing without a trace.
The signs had been there all along for Greg.
During their divorce, Greg gained custody of their daughter and his ex-wife, Dara Llorens, had made threats about taking their child away and disappearing.
Dara did not want Sabrina to have a relationship with her father. She influenced their daughter to make concerning statements at daycare, leading to investigations about alleged abuse by Greg.

Years went by with a semblance of calm until Dara lured Sabrina away one fateful weekend.
On that day, Greg sensed Sabrina’s anxiety as he dropped her off, but little did he know it would be the last time he saw her.
Following the disappearance, Greg immediately suspected Mexico as their likely destination.
Almost a year later, a sighting in Mexico City raised hopes, but the authorities’ delayed response allowed Dara to escape once more.
For 11 long years, Greg searched and hoped for Sabrina’s return.
His perseverance paid off when a call informed him that the authorities had found Dara and Sabrina in Mexico, leading to Sabrina’s long-awaited return to the US.
Upon their reunion, Sabrina harbored resentment towards her father. Eventually, she met Greg’s new wife and, over time, they bridged the gap.
After 12 years, Greg finally had his daughter back, a moment he will forever cherish.
Greg shares on Facebook, “The past year has been a rollercoaster. But I think the worst is behind us. I’m happy to say I have a strong and growing relationship with her.”
