Swans are known for their beauty and grace. It feels like stepping into a fairy tale when you encounter one – their elegance is truly enchanting.
One would never imagine harming such a majestic creature, right?
Well, German rapper “Gzuz” shocked many by posting a video of himself hitting a swan while insulting the beautiful bird.
Gangster rapper Gzuz, aged 30, struck a swan and shared the video on Instagram on May 22, as reported by Bild.
The video captures Gzuz standing on a dock as a swan approaches him. He loudly declares, “I’m going to hit this swan,” and proceeds to do so.
“Bastard!”
As the frightened swan swiftly swims away, he shouts, “bastard!”
The video has understandably outraged animal lovers, leading to a complaint filed against the rapper by PETA.
“Animal abuse is a serious matter and not a sign of a glamorous lifestyle,” stated lawyer Dr. Christian Arleth to Bild. “We hope that Gzuz reflects on his actions through legal action and focuses his energy only on his music in the future.”
PETA’s complaint, submitted to the public prosecutor’s office on July 18, could have serious legal repercussions for the rapper.
In a previous case in December 2017, the 30-year-old rapper received four months of probation for assaulting a supermarket employee.
“Remember, you could face up to 14 months in prison next time,” warned the judge, as reported by Bild.
“I love swans”
Ironically, just a month after the swan incident, Gzuz shared a video on Instagram feeding a family of swans cake with sugar, a harmful treat for birds.
