Rescue and Redemption: Foster Dad Saves Pups Without Front Legs from Euthanasia, Gives Them a Fighting Chance

Nobby, a young puppy, entered the world without front legs. Only four hours into his life, the vet recommended euthanasia for him.

Despite the challenging circumstances, Nobby’s owner made a courageous choice.

Nobby faced early struggles due to his lack of front legs, which hindered his ability to nurse from his mother. While his mother welcomed him, Nubby’s siblings excluded him, making it hard for him to feed.

At just four hours old, the vet believed euthanasia was the most humane option for Nobby.

Nevertheless, in Texas, Lou Robinson and her husband Mark, dedicated to rescuing and caring for abandoned dogs, decided on a different path.

Defying the vet’s advice, they chose to care for Nobby themselves. Nobby accompanied Lou to their home, where both she and her husband provided round-the-clock care, affection, and nourishment through bottle-feeding.
