Animal rights activists opened the trunk of a car when they made a terrible discovery. Dozens of puppies were barking in fear, panicking, locked in the trunk.
The incident took place at the ferry terminal in the village of Cairnryan in northwest Scotland in the summer of 2016. Their story is heartbreaking, but fortunately everything ended well for the little pups.
The Scottish organization SPCA rescued a total of 30 puppies from the dire situation.
