Startled Women Mistake Howling in Bushes for Abandoned Newborn Twins

A group of women heard strange cries in the bushes during a walk in Curitiba, a town in Brazil.

Initially, they thought it was the cries of puppies, but upon closer inspection, they made a very unsettling discovery.

It was two newborn twin sisters, with fully intact umbilical cords.

The twins were believed to have been dumped in the bushes shortly after birth.

“I thought it was crying dogs, but when I took a closer look, I realized they were babies,” Tamela Ribeiro, one of the women who found them, told Mirror.

The police are currently investigating the case, claiming they saw a white van drive by from which the babies were dumped.

The girls weighed about 3 kilograms and were quickly transported to the hospital. They were reported to be in stable condition.

The people involved in the rescue operation of the girls describe them as little miracles and gave them special names including Eloa (meaning “God”) and Heloisa (meaning “Struggling Woman”).

The twin sisters remained in the hospital until they were strong enough to leave. They were then put up for adoption.

There is no doubt that these two brave girls will grow up to be incredibly strong women.

Thank goodness they were found. Thankfully, they are too young to remember their terrible start in life.

Please share to honor the women who saved their lives.
