Upon being caught stealing fruit from a vendor, instead of a compassionate resolution, the monkey faced severe punishment.

Subsequently, the monkey was apprehended by a crowd and restrained with tight nylon ropes binding its arms and legs.

Reports from AFP indicate that the monkey was subjected to ridicule and cheering from onlookers as it sat helplessly.

No repercussions were faced by those responsible for the mistreatment of the monkey.

During the ordeal, an individual callously kicked the monkey in the forehead, causing harm. Following the removal of the ropes, the monkey was confined in a cage.

Authorities in the city, located north of Mumbai, where the incident unfolded, stated that the monkey was eventually released, as reported by the Daily Mail.
