In a world full of hate and injustice, it is important to remember that there is still plenty of good in the world.
Teacher’s Incredible Act Saves Life of 4-Year-Old’s Father
Take teachers, for example. The majority of them are doing great work by educating our children on important values in life. And sometimes they go above and beyond… like elementary school teacher Nancy Bleuer.

Nancy Bleuer, 54, is an elementary school teacher in Mason City, Iowa. She teaches children aged three to five and often goes beyond what is required to ensure that her students are in good hands.

Earlier this year, Nancy noticed that 4-year-old Camden seemed sad and, upon talking to him, she discovered the reason behind his sorrow. Camden’s father, Darreld Petersen, was seriously ill, with his kidneys functioning at only 20 percent, requiring regular dialysis.

Upon learning of Darreld’s condition, Nancy offered him one of her kidneys. To everyone’s amazement, she turned out to be a perfect match, bringing hope and a second chance at life to Darreld.

The successful operation took place on June 1st, and both Darreld and Nancy are now on the road to recovery. Camden was thrilled that his teacher could help save his father’s life, showing the incredible impact teachers can have beyond the classroom.

Nancy Bleuer’s selfless act serves as a reminder of the goodness that exists in people and the impact individuals can have on the lives of others. Her generosity shines as a beacon of hope in a world that often struggles with challenges and difficulties. We commend Nancy for her extraordinary kindness and wish her, Darreld, and Camden all the best in their continued journey of healing and recovery.
