Teen lured to park by ‘friends’ – attacked, filmed and ridiculed

A girl was lured into a park this weekend where she was assaulted by those she thought were her ‘friends’. At the same time, others watched, filmed, and cheered.

Recently, there was an attack in Hood Park, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, in England, which was filmed and shared on social media.

According to the teenager’s stepbrother, she was lured to the park by the perpetrators, who she thought wanted to hang out as friends, reports The Sun.

But when she arrived at the location, it was not at all what she had imagined.

“Friends” betrayed her there

Instead, she had to endure kicks to her head, painful blows, and cruel words.

“These girls carried out their attack by repeatedly kicking and stomping on the victim while laughing, spitting, and cursing,” her stepbrother told MailOnline.

He also posted about the incident on his Twitter, where the video has been viewed over 2.6 million times in just two days.

Horrendous assault

The girls of the same age dragged the victim along the ground and subjected her to a terrible beating.

With heavy blows, they forced her to the ground and attacked her, while the helpless teenager raised her arms to try to protect her head.

But it wasn’t enough that she was betrayed, humiliated, spat on, and abused. Other “friends” stood by and filmed the whole ordeal.

The police on the incident

In the video of the beating that was posted on social media, you can hear the audience laughing and cheering. They shout things like “stomp on her head.”

According to her stepbrother, the assaulted girl suffered head wounds, open wounds, bruises, and abrasions. He also believes she is afraid to leave the house.

After the incident, the Leicestershire police said, according to The Sun: “We are aware of a video posted online showing a teenage girl being attacked on Saturday (June 24) near Station Road, Ashby. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and North West Leicestershire neighborhood police will speak to those involved.”
