Christian Guardino, at just 16 years old, has faced challenges beyond his years.
Diagnosed with Leber Congenital Amaurosis (LCA) as a young child, Christian lived in darkness for a significant part of his early life. Seeking solace, he turned to music.
After years of blindness, Christian was given the chance to join an innovative treatment program that transformed his world.
Upon his sight being restored, Christian pursued his passion for singing.
He decided to showcase his talent to the world by performing on America’s Got Talent. Despite initial nerves causing trembling, his performance of the Jackson 5’s ‘Who’s Lovin You’ was extraordinary.
When the judges heard him sing, one remarked: “You sounded like a little mouse that turned into a lion. You are one of my favorite contestants that I’ve seen this year. Not just in terms of your voice. I just like you. There’s something about you, and it’s just the best feeling possible when we meet somebody like you.”
