Kenzie Leeman from Appleton, USA was only 17 years old when she lost her life.
She worked as a personal assistant and was on her way home from work when the devastating tragedy occurred.
In the middle of a heavy snowstorm, she slid off the road and her car plummeted several meters before it landed.
Young Kenzie had no chance.
She died the moment the car landed after the high fall, and when the emergency services arrived, there was nothing more they could do.
Mother visited daughter’s memorial
When mother Alyson Peters received the devastating phone call that her daughter had passed away, her thoughts kept racing.
She couldn’t comprehend that her daughter had been taken from her far too soon.
“She was one of the most amazing people that I think ever walked the earth,” Kenzie’s mother, Alyson Peters, told WBAY.
After the accident, a memorial was organized to honor Kenzie’s memory.
Friends and family got the chance to leave flowers and personal items on site to share their grief and loss for Kenzie.
Then something strange happened.
Daughter’s message that changed everything
She was standing amidst the sea of flowers from her daughter and items that family members had left when her mobile phone rang.
Alyson slowly picked up her phone and soon realized she had received a text message.
“At that moment, I was like a zombie, and it was almost like I was waking up for the first time because how on earth could I be sitting there and get this quote from my daughter? It was like she was talking to me,” says Alyson.
