The Alleged Victims of Andrew Tate Speak Out as Trump Considers Pardoning Him

Four women who claim to have been sexually abused by influencer and former reality star Andrew Tate have expressed concerns after Trump’s team reportedly asked the Romanian government to return his passport (and that of his brother Tristan).

Does Donald Trump interfere in the process of Andrew and Tristan Tate?

The Tate brothers have been accused of human trafficking, rape, and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women. They are awaiting trial in Romania, where the crimes allegedly took place. They deny all allegations.

Both were previously under house arrest pending court appearance but are now allowed to travel freely in Romania. However, they are not allowed to leave the country. Both hold British and American nationality.

Once the trial in Romania is concluded, the Tate brothers are also wanted by authorities in the United Kingdom for further allegations of sexual abuse reported by a woman from Florida who claims the Tate brothers forced her into sex work, lured her to Romania, and defamed her (the brothers counter-sued her for defamation in 2023).

There is also a lawsuit filed by a woman from Florida who claims the Tate brothers forced her into sex work, lured her to Romania, and defamed her (the brothers counter-sued her for defamation in 2023).

The women have said they are ‘extremely concerned’ about reports that Trump’s special envoy Richard Grenell spoke with a Romanian official, Emil Hurazeanu, to ensure that the Tate brothers get their passports back and that the current restrictions imposed on them are relaxed.
