Being stuck on a long flight can be tiresome, but some unexpected entertainment can make the journey more enjoyable. While movies and books are common go-tos, the passengers on a particular flight were treated to something special – the comedic antics of a bored yet hilarious dog.
Ursula Daphne Aitchison found herself on a flight from London to Ibiza accompanied by her dog, Huxley. However, Huxley, feeling a bit bored, decided to liven things up a bit.
“He was sitting beside me, and because he wasn’t receiving enough attention, he started to misbehave,” she shared with the animal magazine, The Dodo.
Eventually, Huxley made his way to the seat in front of Ursula, where he struck up a friendship with a fellow passenger who welcomed the playful company. Huxley seemed perfectly content to ignore his owner until the sound of a bag of chips being opened caught his attention.
Suddenly, he sought Ursula’s attention by playfully sticking his head through the seat:
Amused by the situation, Ursula captured several photos of Huxley making funny faces and sticking his tongue out:
With his head completely squished, he now bears a resemblance to Jack Nicholson in The Shining:
Ursula mentioned that Huxley soon became the center of attention, bringing joy and laughter to all the passengers onboard.
Recalling the experience, she shared, “He had everyone laughing, and the man next to me even asked if I could take a picture of him with his daughter,” speaking to The Dodo.
Continuing to uplift everyone’s spirits, Ursula posted the photos online in a dog group on Facebook, where they quickly gained thousands of shares.
As for whether Huxley ever got those chips, well, that remains a mystery!
