Meet Ace, a cat who lost an eye to an infection but still cherishes his life as a cat despite being less approachable and more reserved after the incident.
Norma Maikovich, Ace’s owner, shared, “He sometimes looks scary, especially to children,” as reported by The Dodo.
Surveillance footage revealed that despite others being fearful, a young boy made friends with Ace, visiting him regularly when he lounged on Norma’s porch.
The heartwarming scenes captured the boy’s daily visits where he’d stop by with his bike to spend quality time with the cat.
“Their bond is just heart-melting. Ace adores the boy, and they share a special connection,” Norma expressed. “Every time the boy arrives, Ace rushes to greet him. It’s a wonderful friendship.”
Norma was touched by the boy’s acceptance and love for Ace regardless of his appearance. She welcomed the friendship and joy it brought, declaring, “A friend of Ace is a friend to us! Witnessing their bond made us ecstatic.”
