However, there’s distressing news that Eros has been robbed.

One such tale is about Eros, a black Labrador residing in Medellin, Colombia.
Eros lives in Medellin’s Robledo neighborhood and daily delivers fresh food to neighbors using a basket, aiding those who are unable to venture outside to avoid the virus.
The neighborhood’s picturesque, hilly streets exude a unique charm, offering an adventurous drive. However, it’s the people who truly stand out – always friendly, ever-smiling, and ever-ready to assist. It’s no surprise that the neighborhood animals are equally endearing.
Yurany Suarez, one of the beneficiaries of Eros’s help, expresses deep gratitude for the dog’s service.
“It’s incredible because during this pandemic, we must stay home, but he brings us food. Very kind. Animals are smarter than humans,” shared Yurany Suarez with Caracol News.
Regrettably, the upsetting news has surfaced that Eros was robbed. An unknown individual stole the dog’s basket, containing numerous food items meant for neighbors.
Eros was robbed while en route to a delivery address.
“He was accompanying my mother to deliver an order. She led the way, followed by the dog. Besides food, there were ten cigarette packs in the basket. A thief took the basket but left the cigarettes,” revealed Mauricio Lopez, one of Eros’s owners, to Caracol News.

The entire neighborhood is enraged. How could someone commit such an act against a noble dog like Eros, who merely aids the community!
Mauricio is saddened by the incident but is grateful that Eros remained unharmed.
Meanwhile, Mauricio has procured a new basket for Eros to resume his altruistic mission.
Fortunately, Eros remains unharmed. Nevertheless, it’s disheartening that such a commendable dog fell victim to theft.
