The Coughing Boy’s Selfless Act Reveals a Shocking Truth about His Health

Life doesn’t always go as planned. Just ask 12-year-old Torrin Breneman. For three years, he dedicated all his time and efforts to help sick children in a unique and altruistic way, by donating his own hair.
But then his life took a drastic turn, and it all started with a nagging cough. This is one of the most powerful stories I’ve read in a long time, and I hope everything turns out well for this amazing 12-year-old boy.
Three years ago, Torrin discovered something: many children with cancer lose their hair during treatment. While the primary focus of treating cancer is effective cancer treatment, the appearance of cancer patients can greatly impact their self-confidence.
The non-profit organization Wigs For Kids helps these children who have lost their hair. What they need are hair donations, from which they then design wigs. These are then given to children whose hair has fallen out due to cancer treatment.
Torrin wanted to help, so for three years, he grew his hair so he could donate it to the charity.
Torrin’s hair puzzled many unfamiliar people. They often thought he was a girl and laughed at him. But Torrin continued to grow his hair until March when it was long enough to donate.
Six months later, Torrin suddenly started coughing heavily. When it wouldn’t stop, he had to be admitted to a children’s hospital.
The doctor’s diagnosis
In September, Torrin was diagnosed with cancer. He had Hodgkin lymphoma, a cancer that nests in the lymphatic system. When people living near Torrin heard about what had happened, they raised money to help the family.
They also brought gifts to Torrin and his sisters, but these were stolen. When the media reported on the stolen gifts while the family was in the hospital, the gifts were returned.
Torrin was looking forward to attending a wrestling match last week, but despite having tickets, he couldn’t go due to his health.
On October 8, Torrin’s mother Carrie wrote on Facebook: “Most people would be upset to be here, but he is being continuously monitored, and that makes me a lot happier.”
We hope Torrin will recover soon. Please share this message to show support for this 12-year-old boy. For three years of his life, he helped children with cancer, but unfortunately, he now needs help himself!
