The human body is truly incredible. Medical conditions can really change people’s lives. For example, Supatra Sasuphan was born with Ambras syndrome. This means a chromosomal deficiency leads to extreme hair growth on her face, arms, legs, back, and ears. She quickly became known as “the hairiest girl in the world.” Today she has turned 19 and a lot has happened since then.
Bullied and insulted at school
Her classmates call her insults like “monkey face” and “wolf girl”. But in 2010 she was included in the Guinness World Records for being the hairiest girl in the world. Then everything changed. The bullying stopped, and suddenly she became a celebrity and gained many friends.
This is how she lives today, 10 years later
Ten years have passed and her life has changed in many ways. She chose to shave off all her hair. She even found the love of her life, whom she married. “You are not only my first great love, you are also the man of my life,” Supatra Sasuphan wrote about her husband. As reported by Expressen.
