The Shocking Scandal: Jockey Caught on Camera Doing the Unthinkable to Animals

Whether you participate in horse racing, are a regular horse lover, or simply enjoy watching these beautiful animals – you should never, ever treat them aggressively.

Nevertheless, some people find it hard to grasp, so we need to continue to draw attention to this unacceptable behavior, even if it’s painful to see.

Because if we simply sit back and let it happen, how can we ever stop this animal abuse?

This incident occurred on Wednesday at the racetrack in Port Lincoln, Australia.

The camera captured the moment when frustrated jockey Dylan Caboche tried to control his horse “She’s Reneldasgirl.”

The 22-year-old apprentice jockey Dylan Caboche appears to lose his patience and control when the horse doesn’t do what he wants.

Suddenly, he dismounts from his horse and punches it hard in the stomach, in full view of shocked spectators.

The video was published by Brisbane 7 News and received thousands of angry comments. Federation Thoroughbred Racing S.A Limited responded by suspending Dylan for two weeks until December 1.

However, animal lovers are furious with this decision. Members of “The Coalition for the Protection of Race Horses in Australia” – CPR for short – believe the punishment is far too lenient and demand a permanent ban.

“You don’t punch a horse in the stomach and get away with it,” said Ward Young, spokesperson for the organization, in a statement.

“If jockeys can’t control their temper, they don’t deserve to be on the track. If this is what we see on race day, we can’t even imagine what goes on behind the scenes.”

The jockey explained his behavior on Thursday, stating that he reacted “impulsively.”

“I understood that what I did was unacceptable,” Dylan Caboche told Channel 7.

“Hitting a horse is clearly not the right way to solve a problem. I lost my control, and this should not have happened.”

The fact that he only received a two-week suspension is a complete scandal in itself. Personally, I believe he should be banned for life!
