It’s even more touching when children display remarkable compassion towards animals. This was exactly the case with a young girl who acted swiftly and selflessly when her dog needed help.
Ogün Öztürk, a veterinarian from Turkey, was attending to a cow when he was approached by an unexpected visitor. In the midst of heavy snow, a little girl was seen hurrying towards him, carrying her ailing dog on her back.
The entire village was abuzz with the news of this brave young girl and her devoted gesture towards her pet. Cemre Su Turkoz had independently taken her dog to the vet for a check-up.
Upon seeing them, Ogun expressed his surprise and touched heart, stating, “She had wrapped her dog in a blanket and brought it to me on her back.”
Moved by the girl’s actions, the veterinarian examined the dog and discovered it only had a minor skin infection. After administering necessary medication, the dog quickly recovered.
What’s even more remarkable is that Ogün provided all the care free of charge. Impressed by Cemre’s kindness, he refused to accept any payment.
He mentioned, “It made me very happy that an 8-year-old decided to do this on her own, what a good heart this child has.”
“The fact that someone at such a young age can show such exemplary behavior gives hope to humanity. With everything going on in the world, there is still hope. Cemre proved that and shows that the only truth is love.”
