The global pandemic caused by the coronavirus continues to affect countless lives. The surge in infections and fatalities persists worldwide.

A devastating incident has unfolded in Mexico where an entire family fell victim to COVID-19. The family comprised an elderly couple, Emilio (68) and Aurora (65), along with their two sons, Julio Cesar (35) and Ricardo (45). This heartbreaking story was documented by RT.

The first family member to contract COVID-19 was the younger son, who developed high blood pressure in April. While he was in intensive care, his obese brother also fell ill.

“Pure madness”

A niece of the family, Maria del Carmen, recounted the deteriorating condition of the two brothers. Ricardo was cremated on April 30, and within a day, his brother Julio Cesar passed away.

The father succumbed to the virus on May 9, followed by the mother of the sons on May 13.
