Marketed as ‘Safe’
Indria Tuckler, a devoted owner of a beautiful Golden Retriever, always prioritizes her dog’s safety when selecting toys. One popular dog toy on the market is a chew rope, promoted as ‘safe’ and ‘indestructible’ for dogs to play with.
Unexpected Tragedy
Tragically, this was not the case for Indria’s beloved pet, Sam the Golden Retriever. Sam managed to chew off pieces of the supposedly indestructible toy and swallowed them. Despite efforts to retrieve the swallowed pieces, Sam eventually died two days later due to internal bleeding caused by the toy.
Indria took to Facebook to share her heartbreaking experience in hopes of cautioning other dog owners.

She mentioned, “It looked extremely safe and impossible to break, but nevertheless my dog had chewed up several pieces.”
Indria detailed where she purchased the toy and its appearance to prevent others from facing a similar tragedy.
