Tragic Neglect: 2-Year-Old Starves in Apartment While Mother Dances for Cash

Children are our pride and joy, and ensuring their well-being is a top priority for every parent.

Therefore, the neglect of children is both shocking and heartbreaking to many of us.

In Georgia, a two-year-old girl was left starving and alone at night while her mother went out to dance for money, leading to a tragic outcome that now requires legal justice.

Devin Moon from Gwinnett Country, Georgia, routinely left her child alone for 10-12 hours during the night, as reported by the police to the New York Post.

It is believed that Reygan was abandoned in their Lilburn home while the 29-year-old mother worked at a local club.

Police were alerted when the mother discovered her weak and unresponsive toddler after returning from her night job at the club.

Tragically Late

Upon calling 911, she described Reygan as unresponsive and cold, but sadly, the arrival of paramedics and police was too late to save the child.

The little girl, who had just turned three, was discovered lifeless upon their arrival.

At that point, the cause of death remained unknown, and no legal actions had been taken against the mother.

However, a subsequent investigation revealed that the child’s death resulted from neglect and malnutrition, as she weighed a mere 14 kilograms.

The mother is now facing charges of child abuse and murder.

It is truly devastating that such a young life was lost and even more heartbreaking that this innocent girl suffered from starvation instead of receiving the care and love every child deserves.
