Violence against animals is sadly not a new occurrence, and with the rise of social media, these incidents are gaining more attention.
Recently, the community in Schijndel was shaken by the tragic death of Henkie the cat. A heartbroken uncle took to Facebook to share the news of the cat’s senseless killing.
The lifeless body of the cat was discovered on the doorstep, a cruel act that was reported by Omroep Brabant and is believed to have been carried out with an air rifle.
The devastated owner of the cat expressed, “Henkie was my daughters’ cat. They are completely devastated by this loss.”
Adding to the tragedy, the family’s other cat, Mina, has been missing since Wednesday and has not returned home. There are concerns about her well-being, and any information regarding her whereabouts is appreciated.
