Through the enticing lure of a cheeseburger, Edna was finally coaxed to safety. Despite her physical state—severely malnourished with hair loss—she began her journey to recovery with immediate medical attention.

A remarkable twist unfolded as it was discovered that Edna had a microchip. The activist group contacted the original owner, who had believed Edna was deceased after rehoming her two years prior—a revelation that brought both joy and relief.

Previous Owner’s Reaction

The owner, though relieved to learn of Edna’s survival, made the selfless decision not to reclaim her. Unable to provide for Edna, the woman had surrendered her, coping with the news of her passing and moving forward.
